Farm lap book and a happy bee

After seeing a YouTube video on how to make a bee with construction paper, RA wanted to make one herself. We could not do that for a long time. Since the topic of our week five lesson was on birds and animals, we decided to make the bee (though it does not fit in either categories, but close to them).
We got help from this video. We also learnt that there is a chapter in the Quran named 'An-Nahl' which means bee.
We cut all the pieces we needed.

RA was quite helpful this time.

We didn’t have the googly eyes or pipe cleaner for antenna. We used construction paper for that.
RA was talking to the bee. She said that the bee looked happy.

We also made a lapbook on farm animals. We got all the materials from this site.

This time I prepared everything ahead. Because it had some activities which RA could enjoy, I tried to make it a bit special.
Here was the puzzle RA trying to solve.

RA did the size sequencing activity.

She liked the head and tail matching game.

She colored some farm animals.

Counting animal was fun.

RA finished two worksheets on farm animals and I glued them here.

  2. Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah.
    Ameen to your dua.
We didn't not felt like working hard. Making this lapbook was so easy, especially after the human body lapbook. I had to cut very little papers compared to the first one. the main thing is my daughter enjoyed the activities very much. and its your curriculum and your supports which inspired us the most.
