Letters recognition (part 2):

RA learnt 8 more alphabets Alhamdulillah. We played matching game using those alphabets. 

  

Then RA wanted to read the book ‘Billy and Milly-Short and Silly’. We took it from the library and it was a book for level 1 reader. This book has used one word for expressing one whole sentence or one idea. We found all eight letters there, actually plenty of them. RA found them on her own, Alhamdulillah. It was a good exercise for her.

She read few easy pages by herself. Of course she didn’t know how to spell; she didn’t even look at the words. She was looking at the picture and telling the words which fitted the illustrations. She was feeling overjoyed that she could read the words. She got lots of encouragement too.

We also had some fun with our play dough.
